Join us every Tuesday night
RRC is a free community group run that meets every Tuesday at 5:30 & 5:45pm on a year round basis. Rain, snow, sun or hail, we meet at Centennial Trail Head or various locations around town and explore Rossland's single-track. We aim to create a safe and inclusive space for runners of all abilities. RRC strives to foster community, connection, trail etiquette, and respect for our trails and natural landscapes. We enjoy our post-run beers and social time, occasionally racing each other, and above all having fun.
New for the summer of 2025: we have a beginner distance group that meets 8am every Sunday. Runs build gradually over the course of the summer with a group run cumulating in running the 30km Seven Summits Trail. Routes/meeting locations can be found HERE
Runners of all abilities are welcome. We generally split into 1-2 groups depending on preferred pace.
5:30pm pace group: Ideal for beginner runners and those who enjoy moving at a more relaxed pace. Approx 7:30-10min/km pace
5:45pm pace group: Ideal for those who like a faster pace with no walk breaks. Approx 5:30-7min/km pace.
Runs are meant to be social, with regrouping at junctions. No runner gets left behind. Tuesday night runs range between 7-12km in distance. Trails are single track: expect rocks, roots, dirt and the occasional double track road. Oh, and hills... lots of hills. If the meeting location changes it will be posted on our socials and strava. Apres are held year-round at the Rossland Beer Co.
Run club is dog friendly! However, please leave your furry friend at home if they do not play nice with other dogs. Please be in-control of your dog at all times, whether this is by leash, e-collar or amazing training skills. Rowdy doggos tripping up runners will be sent back to the dog house. The saftey and enjoyment of our runners is paramount.
When running on the roads, please leash your dog to comply with the City of Rossland bylaws.
